Rooms/Suites

The lush Costa Rican forests envelopes our 63-acre private villa estate, each featuring comfortable three to five bedrooms, all luxurious like the rest of the estate. Each villa has panoramic views of the Guanacaste mountains, beaches and Bolanos Bay. Explore the estate and surrounding area with your private eco-friendly golf cart, on foot, or via mountain bikes available for a hands-on experience. All villas offer all the conveniences of home with luxurious touches.


Villa 2 (4 bedroom):
This tropically inspired villa offers stunning views of the surrounding forest and ocean. The furnishings and color schemes throughout evoke the natural environment, and feature a spacious casually sophisticated living and dining area, with an adjacent kitchen and pantry. The upstairs offers an expansive private terrace and sitting room, suitable for outdoor dining and entertaining. Included is a furnished, landscaped patio with an adjoining infinity plunge pool.

Maximum Occupancy: 10 Adults or various combinations of adults and children. Please note this villa is not ideal for children under 12 as each bedroom is its own free-standing structure and is separated from the other by outdoor walkways.

While at Recreo, you have unlimited access to all our amenities and recreational activities including; the fitness center, tennis courts, horseback riding, sea kayaking, snorkeling, mountain biking, basketball, volleyball and more included in the cost of your package. You will find a daily activities board in the Welcome Center. Here you can sign up for any of the tours and activities available for any given day. Our concierge, Ricardo will make the arrangements for you based on your choices. Throughout your visit he will be available to assist you in anyway.

Directions

Driving Directions

For guests preferring to drive, directions from Liberia Airport to Recreo are as follows:

1. When leaving the airport, take a left onto the highway.
2. Stay straight until the main intersection in Liberia.
(Jumbo supermarket on the right, Burger King on the left)
3. Make the left at Burger King.
4. Stay on that road straight for about 45 minutes until you get to La
Cruz. As you drive into La Cruz, the police station and clinic are on
your right. Turn LEFT just before the large gas station.
5. Take that road straight and follow the curve to the right. You will pass
two grocery stores next to each other on your right.
6. Take a LEFT at the next 4-way intersection. The La Cruz park will be
on the left.
7. Take that road straight out of town. Drive down a hill and the water is
visible in the distance to the right. The road will transition to a dirt road
after a few miles.
8. Take the road to El Jobo. (There are a few places where the road
forks off but keep to the right.)
9. When you reach El Jobo drive straight into town. Pass a red
convenience store on the left.
10. Take the next right. The road goes either straight or right; there is a
small police station on the left once you turn.
11. Take that road about 1 mile out of town and Recreo will be on your
right. Our entrance is visible with the fences, pink flowers and a
wooden gate. After you enter through the gate, parking is available in
front of the Welcome Center.

DETAILS for rates
Prices are per person, per night. Based on the nightly rate as indicated by date.
Children under the age of 6 are free and between the ages of 6 to 12 have 50% discount.

Minimums:
Nightly bookings are 7 nights during Holiday periods and 3 nights for all other dates.
Holiday occupancy has a minimum nightly rate of the maximum occupancy per villa. For example, a villa sleeps 10, the minimum is 10 guests x Holiday rate per night x 7 nights (or more depending on reservation length)
Minimum double occupancy in first room per villa.

Transportation is not included. Airport transfers are $50 per person one way or $100 round-trip. Transportation costs can be discounted 50% for more than 6 people in one transportation route.
