Packages include daily surflessons and morning yoga sessions: Perfect for beginners to those with more intermediate skills, our surf instructors have chased waves all over the world and know exactly how to teach you the skills of catching a wave in a safe and fun way. If you have no experience with surfing, no problem there's no better place in the world to learn. To do so, your program will provide you with personalized instruction every day. Unlike other surf camps, we prefer to keep it small- in doing so, we keep the attention on personalized service during the surf classes.

Typical Day

If you haven't woken up yet by the early sunrise or the howler monkeys one of the staff members will wake you up for a morning yoga session. Followed by a delicious tropical breakfast. AFter your breakfast you can chill out at the beach or explore the area. We can arrange additional activities upon request. After lunch at the resort you will go for a two hour long surf session with one of the instructors. You can end your day with a sunset on the beach and a one hour massage included in your package! Most people are pretty tired after dinner and go to bed early to rise again the next day for a yoga-session.

Lucero Surf Retreats is perfect for everyone! Singles, couples, friends and families. We've had 5 year olds and 60 year olds learn how to surf at Lucero!

Sleeping and meals

Guests of Lucero Surf Retreats will be staying at the exclusive and beautiful resort ‘Otro lado’, only 25 meters from the ocean- with luxurious little villas that can accommodate up to four guests. Surrounded by a tropical lush garden, a pool to cool off in and a small restaurant to enjoy breakfast and lunches. In the morning the nice wooden floor of the restaurant turns into a private yoga studio!
