The tour described below contains the places and the sights that you will admire in this tour. We will offer you the pleasure of a relaxed vacation for your mind and soul. At the end of the tour you will not leave Romania just with a very long list of the visited places, nice people and delicious traditional food. The pleasant memories will convince you to come back again.
Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Bucharest. Meet your guide. Transfer to your hotel. According with the time of arrival, if time allows a city tour. Overnight in Bucharest. What you will see: The Parliament Palace, The Village Museum, The Stavropoleus Church, Traditional Dinner at The Beer Cart.

Day 2-3-4: After breakfast, we leave Bucharest, heading to Gura Humorului in Bucovina. We will spend here 3 nights. What you will see: Bucovina Country traditions Museum, Bucovina Monastery's: Voronet (UNESCO Heritage), Humor (UNESCO Heritage), Moldovita (UNESCO Heritage), Sucevita, Patrauti (UNESCO Heritage), Dragomirna, Arbore (UNESCO Heritage). Old forgotten handicrafts: Black pottery Margina manufacture- Painted Easter eggs demonstration, Cacica Salt Mine, Ciocanesti – A living Museum village.

Typical Day

Day 5-6-7: After breakfast, we leave Bucovina, heading to Sighetu Marmatiei in Maramures. We will spend here 3 nights. What you will see: Old wooden churches, part of UNESCO Heritage: Barsana, Budesti, Desesti, Ieud, Plopis, Poienile Izei, Rogoz, Surdesti. The Merry cemetery in Sapanta. Traditional wooden gates in Maramures. Sighet Memorial Museum. Elie Wiesel Memorial House in Sighet. The Village Museum of Maramures. The Women’s Museum in Dragomiresti. Medieval Restaurant Corvin in Baia Mare.

Day 8-9-10: After breakfast, we leave Maramures, heading to Sighisoara. What you will see: The Medieval Citadel. The Clock Tower Museum. The Torture Room. Vlad Draculs House. Traditional Lunch in Draculs House. The church on the hill. The defensive wall of the citadel and the 14 defensive towers. Plum Brandy and wine tasting. Visit fortified Saxon churches: Biertan, Rupea, Saschiz, Viscri, Darjiu.

Day 11: After breakfast, we leave Sighisoara, heading to Brasov. What you will see in Brasov: The Black Church. Town Square. Between Brasov and Bucharest we visit the Peles Castle in Sinaia. Arrival and overnight in Bucharest.

Day 12: After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport, or you can extend your stay in Bucharest.
