American Adventure Hostels

The American Adventure Hostel features 20 beds, friendly professional hosts, access to your favorite outdoor activities, free WiFi and linens, kitchen facilities, and several common rooms that are perfect for socializing and making memories with other guests.
The hostel welcomes travelers of all ages, tourists, road trippers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone looking to have a great time. Your hosts go out of their way to ensure the hostel is clean, safe, and exceeds all your expectations.

The American Adventure Hostel is 26 miles from the Yosemite National Park entrance and is located on Highway 120 in the historic community of Groveland. The hostel is in walking distance to ATMs, markets, post office, coffee shops, restaurants and the famous Iron Door Saloon.


Alcohol is permitted but in moderation. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund for use or distribution of illegal drugs during your stay with us.

We ask that you are quiet in the individual rooms after 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM in the common areas, out of respect for our neighbors and other guests.

Check-In is after 4:00 PM. Please plan your arrival time accordingly. Checkout is 10:00 AM. Please plan your daily activities accordingly.

Directions

Please use Groveland California as your destination for any online map searches. Highway 120 is the only road that travels through Groveland and you can't miss our sign as you cruise into town.
