Lahaina Bungalow

Off the beaten tourist path, this surfer-style bungalow offers hostel lodging. Serene outdoor eating space, garden setting and easy access to historic Lahaina Town. All rooms are clean, air-conditioned and minimally furnished. One set of linens will be provided upon check-in (sheets and towel). Absolutely no drugs or inside smoking tolerated. And yes, pets are welcome!

Tucked in a southern Lahaina neighborhood, right off the highway, Lahaina Bungalow has been landscaped into a tropical oasis. A wave-cut white fence, African tulip trees, palms and plumeria screen the highway while framing the majestic West Maui Mountains. Sunbathe on the large grassy lawn, cool off in the two-foot deep wading pool with “rain shower” waterfall, and dine in the softly lit patio gazebo in the warm Maui evening.


Lahaina Bungalow is close to Puamana Beach Park, Shark Pitt and Break Wall (popular surf spots), the Shops at 505 Front Street, the Lahaina Aquatic Center, basketball and tennis courts, and Kamehameha Iki beach park. Grocery stores, bike rentals, gas stations, the post office and banks are all in the center of town.

Take Highway 30 to Lahaina, turn to the ocean at Shaw St. Turn left on Wainee St.
