Buritara offers a selection of guesthouses, located on a sloping hill which leads to the River Kwai Noi.
Each spacious room has its own unique interior, designed solely to suit your preferences.

With our variety, a guesthouse can accommodate from 1 to 24 guests and each has it own kind of ambiance, such as riverside vista, hill top vista, garden vista and forest vista. All provided to suit each of our guests.

To further your pleasant stay we also have available: outdoor pools, spas and Thai massage, playground, camping area, restaurant and room service.


Every guesthouse is equipped with appliances for your convenience.

Guest rooms and suites

Tent

Buritara's tents are situated around the lagoon, providing guests with the most beautiful vista of the whole resort. All twenty of the 4*8 meter tents contain a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The verandah in front of the tent is perfect place where guests can sit at leisure to enjoy brunch or simply admire the view. Guests can enjoy nature's gifts while feeling comfortable as each tent has all the conveniences of home, such as television, fridge, air-conditioner and water heater.

House

The Buritara's houses are located on the upper part of the resort under the lush foliages of trees many decades old with beautifully arranged garden all around. From this lofty perspective, guests can enjoy the view of the lagoon all the way down to the River Kwai. There are many types of houses to accommodate guests.

Villa

The Morn Villa, Buritara's newest addition, is a three-storey building consisting of twenty-thrr 4*12 meter rooms. There are nine rooms located on the ground floor and seven rooms each on the second and third floor. The villa's decor gives an ancient Morn ambience, elegant and natural. It is as if guests are transported back in time to experience the early Morn culture, but with all teh modern conveniences. The rooms, not unlike those of hotels, comprise of a leisure area, a bedroom and bathroom, and have a complete set of amenities. Second and third storey rooms have assess to splendid view from their balconies where the resort's lagoon and River Kwai Noi can be seen.

Dining

All food and beverages of the Buritara Resort are under the care of our professional chefs who specialized in many styles of cuisine such as Chinese, Thai, Western, etc. We are always ready to serve, be it in reception parties or private dining at any area to your satisfaction. If you so desire to break fast in in the comfort of your room, have lunch by the Lagoon to watch your children play on the beach, or have a candle-lit dinner on the Riverside Terrace, we are ready to be at your service.

Spa

The harmonious setting of the spa, offers a natural refuge from today's busy world. A place where elements of Thailand's rich culture and traditions of service, awaken the senses and restore both body and mind.

Activities
Buritara Resort proudly present our newest activity: The BB Bun Killing Field. Guests can participate in mock battles with friends and other guests or simply practice shooting. The range is open for use night and day so that guests can experience various battle experience. Guests who stay at resort has a special privilege of free use of the field-no charge. We have equipments-guns, suit, helmet, guards, etc.-for rent or or guests can sue their own equipments.

Rafting, canoeing or crossing the River Kwai Bridge-Death Bridge-Grasae Cavernon a locomotive cost only 100 - 300 baht.

Directions

1. You can travelby train from Thonburi station to Wang Po station in Kanchanaburi, whic will only be ten minutes away from the resort. We will have a provided for your transport.
Along the train line there are many attractions such as the bridge which crosses the River Kwai and Grasae Cavern.

3. Travel by car
Travel on the Pechkasem road or Boromrachonani pass Nakornchaisri Nakornpathom Ban Pong, Ta Maka, Ta Moung to Karnchanaburi province. The distance being approximately 129 km which take about 1.5 - 2 hours. And from downtown Karnchanaburi to Gangsien Junction then turn left to Sai Yok district to the resort. Distance is about 36 km taking only 30 minutes
