Resort Bangphlat

Resort Bangphlat is one of the premier resorts in Bangkok. Located a short local bus or taxi ride from the Grand Palace, National Museum, National Gallery, Wat Pho and the Khao San Road this resort is truly unique. Built using traditional methods this resort has all the modern conveniences, but with the style and character of an historic, Thai wooden house. Each house has a seperate living area, bathroom, balcony, bedroom and work room. There is free WiFi internet provided throughout the resort and television in the private living rooms. The bathrooms feature large rose-head showers with plenty of hot water available at all times.

Our houses are situated in our peaceful, out of the way, soi. We are located around 50 meters from the road and the only noise you will hear is the sound of the water running down our fountain. Our restaurant and coffee shop serve in either our traditional dining area or outside in one of our peaceful, wooden, seating areas. Though within simple traveling distance to all the major sites of Bangkok we are located in an interesting area that is not used to seeing many foreigners allowing you to experience everyday Thai life in an undisturbed manner. Our friendly staff can provide information on local markets, temples and other attractions to give a different outlook to your stay in Bangkok.

Driving out of Bangkok from Pinklao bridge, after passing one intersection, turn right to Charansanitwong road at the second intersection, then go straight through Bangplat intersection for 500 meters.
