The old local slogan: “Haur du sitt Malmö, har du sitt varden”, which loosely translates to “If you have seen Malmö you have seen the world,” is experiencing a resurgence in the city. Malmö has a distinctly European feel with its rich city life, relaxed attitude and unique appeal and character.

The new hostel Malmö City is in the heart of Malmö. It neighbours the Stadsteater (city theatre) and pedestrian streets beating to the pulse of the city are on the doorstep. There are plenty of cafés and bars and it’s never far to art, culture and design.

Guests at the hostel can choose from family- or multiple-bed rooms with shower and toilet in the corridor.

Buy our breakfast buffet, served daily 7-9.30 am. or make your own in the fully equipped guest kitchen.


Please note, sleeping bags are not allowed. Bedlinen for rent or bring your own set.

Non-members of Hostelling International pay an additional 50 SEK/person/night on arrival.
