Casa Aldomar

Casa Aldomar offers you a distinct experience, a newly restored 18th century house in the heart of the old quarter of Xativa, one of Valencia's most beautiful and historic small cities. The house is 50 metres from the birthplace of the Borgia popes and the Royal Fountain of Aldomar.

Our house gives you the feel of a boutique hotel with the attention to detail of a guesthouse.

Our house retains much of its original character as a silk weaver's house. The guest living room still has its 18th century fireplace and ceiling beams. Each of our four en-suite guest rooms is air conditioned and equipped with heating and we have WIFI access to connect your laptop throughout the house. We have a spacious patio where you can put your feet up after exploring the city, its magnificent castle and the surrounding countryside.

Directions

Xativa can be reached by mainline train from Valencia and Madrid. To get to Casa Aldomar leave the train station and walk up hill along the street called 'Baixa de l'Estacio' until its end in the Alameda, Xativa's tree-lined main avenue. Take a left and walk for about 5 minutes along the Alameda until you reach Xativa theatre. Cross the road and take the street between two shops 'Sanchis Bicicletas' and 'Banus' . Go to the end of this street, take a left into C/. Sant Pere and after 50 metres you arrive in Plaza Alexandre VI, with the fountain of Aldomar. C/. Bosch runs along the right hand side of the square. We are at number 11.

If arriving by car at the last roundabout from the motorway take the first exit and bear immediately left. Drive uphill following signs for 'Castillo'. At the second set of lights take a left and you arrive in the Alameda. Parking for free near to Xativa Theatre. Then follow the instructions above to arrive at our house.
