Lava International Backpackers Hostel

Welcome to the a new experience in backpacking and budget accommodation. Lava International Hostel is a quiet, clean, family run hostel with a focus on friendly service.

Located in a quiet area of beautiful Los Cristianos on the island of Tenerife, Lava offers a unique twist on the traditional hostel. Whether it is your desire to lounge on the beautiful beaches or trek the stunning volcanoes; dine at the quaint cafes or mountain bike over challenging terrain, Lava is the place to stay.

Lava is situated only minutes from bars, restaurants, supermarkets, hiking and beaches, making it the most centrally located hostel in South Tenerife for travellers who like to be close to everything with our without a car.

As we are rather difficult to find, we offer inexpensive transfers for the following rates:
Tenerife Reina Sofia Aeropuerto: 15€ 1 per & 5€ each additional person, Max 4.
Puerto Los Cristianos: 5€
Los Cristianos Bus Stop 2€
Santa Cruz Harbor or Tenerife Norte Aeropuerto: 40€ 1 person and 10€ each additional person, Max 4.

From Tenerife Sur Aeropuerto Reina Sophia:
Take the TF-1 toward Los Cristianos for about 16.1 km. Get off at km 72 toward Los Cristianos. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Av. Juan Carlos I /
Tf-655 toward Los Cristianos for .9 km. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto calle Hermano Pedro de Bethencourt for .7 km, going through the next roundabout, where you will see the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas on the left. A few metres beyond turn left into a parking lot. Walk up the footpath at the end of the parking lot to the right and we are the second gate on the right, Vivienda Numero 2..

Tenerife Norte Aeropuerto:
Take the TF-2 toward Santa Cruz, then take the TF-1 toward Los Cristianos Get off at km 72 toward Los Cristianos. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Av. Juan Carlos I /
Tf-655 toward Los Cristianos for .9 km. Taxi:
Hop in a taxi outside arrivals and it will cost about 25 € - 35€ to Lava in Vivienda Numero 2, Residencial Los Corales, Av. San Francisco. Instruct the driver to let you out at the end of Calle Callado near the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas.

Bus:
Take any of the buses to Los Cristianos and get off at the only stop in town. As you step off the bus, turn left, walking up a slight hill. Take a right at Netto, continuing up hill to the next roundabout. Go straight through the roudabout, then cross the street just past the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Walk through the parking lot next to the Escuela to the footpath at the end and go right. We are the second gate on the right, Vivienda Numero 2, Residencial Los Corales.
