Apartments Domacija

The Domacija tourist apartments are cosy and comfortable and are located in a safe, quiet area of Ljubljana, just 1km from the city centre.

There is a garden with a children’s playground and a garden table at the back which is perfect for relaxing, reading a book and soaking up the atmosphere of the city.

We have two and three roomed apartments with cable TV, telephone, internet PC and bicycles available to rent.

Our apartments are great value for money in town and are especially suitable for smaller groups of people. We look forward to hearing from you.

Directions

The apartments are 1 km south of the city centre, on the crossing of Jelovskova and Layerjeva street.


If you come to Ljubljana by train or intercity bus:
If you take a local bus: at the main railway station Ljubljana, you take local bus No.9 direction: Trnovo (the bus stop is 50m from the exit of the railway station).

Ask for the City bus, in Slovene: 'mestni bus stevilka 9 TRNOVO' (pronounce as it is written) and get out on the 9th bus stop (named 'Veliki štradon').

Attention!: Bus drivers sometimes don't stop on every bus stop!
Last run of a bus at 22:30, first run at 05:00 (Sundays and holidays at 06:00)!

From here, you walk approx. 150m. Cost: 250SIT/person.

Much easier, safer and not very expensive: take a taxi (about 900 SIT=€4) per car (up to 4 passengers) from the station to Jelovskova

There are taxis in front of the railway station.

Warning! Drivers sometimes take a bit longer way, so tell them to drive through city centre, as described for walking and shown with a green arrow on Ljubljana map.

If you prefer to walk, it will take you about 30 min. Walk through the city centre (Slovenska street) directly to the south, past the French embassy (Francoska ambasada), the Trnovo church (Trnovska cerkev), behind Inn 'Pod Vrbo' (Gostilna Pod Vrbo), turn to the right for 150m., turn left and after 50m and you will see the house.
