Moalboal Backpacker Lodge

Welcome to Moalboal Backpacker Lodge. The only real low budget hostel (B&B) right here in the lively heart of Panagsama Beach in Moalboal.
Our philosophy is to give a cosy accommodation for an affordable price for all on budget traveller. To those people who love traveling like us.

In the Backpacker Lodge you’ll find a single room, a double room, a 4 bed woman dormitory and a 14 bed mix dormitory (with safety box) all with fan and shared bathroom.

The rooms or dormitory have single and bunk beds with new mattress and fresh bed linen.

The Moalboal Backpacker Lodge is a family friendly place and that‘s why 2 kids below age of 12 accompanied by their parents stay for free.

The lodge is a communal facility including 2 shower, 2 toilet, 2 washbasin, washing machine.
A guest kitchen is complete with gas stove, kitchen tools, oven and refrigerator.

A BBQ station with a long table is in front of the lodge. So get a fresh fish from the market and have a good BBQ with your friends.
For guest who like B&B is breakfast on our small coffee bar available.
Our “House breakfast” served with home made bread, fried egg with spicy fried tomato, local carabao cheese and cup of coffee or tea.

The Moalboal Backpacker Lodge is also a right place for scuba divers who likes a simple, comfortable and clean low budget accommodation. Specially our scuba diver guest will find a charger station for dive torch, u/w cameras and laptops. Adaptors are obtainable as well.
We arrange for you motor bike or bicycle for rent.

In our cosy lobby is with a reception desk for check-in and a small coffee bar where you can enjoy your breakfast with homemade bread or fresh brewed coffee, cappuccino or espresso. To keep safely your luggage we have enough large lockers.

The Moalboal Backpacker Lodge is for all low budget traveller, backpackers and scuba divers who like BYO. We may provide you with bed linen and towel but we also accept if you bring it by yourself.
We can arrange with extra charge a pick-up service from Mactan International Airport or your hotel in Cebu City.

Check-in is 2 p m and Check-out is at 12 noon.
If you arrive earlier than expected, just give us time to prepare the room for you.

Directions

Tourists wanting to stay in Moalboal (Panagsama Beach) can easily take a taxi from Cebu International Airport. If you travel by bus take in Cebu City from the Southern bus terminal (roughly every hour) the Librando or Ceres Liner (via Barili) to Moalboal. From Moalboal public market take a tricycle to Panagsama.
If you are coming by your own car to us, leave Cebu City following on the southern highway via Carcar and Bareli. In Moalboal (public market area) take in Moalboal a right turn at Julies Bakeshop to Panagsama (3.5 km straight ahead).
We can arrange a transfer from Mactan International Airport or your hotel in Cebu City.
