Dar Tasnime

Dar Tasnime is a charming guest house located within the old city of Marrakech, in the easily accessible district of Kasbah. A superb historical site which is in front of Moulay Lyazid mosque and in the vicinity of the main square Jamâa-el-Fna, shopping areas and other local attractions.

This guest house is an ancient Riad that was recently renovated and decorated with love, passion, and according to local traditions. It took two years for several teams of talented artisans to restore this traditional house using local materials and techniques that have been used for centuries. The refined tints of this authentic moroccan house are in perfect harmony with its arab architecture making it appropriate for a serene and convivial stay.


The Riad offers three rooms and two suites around a courtyard with a refreshing wall fountain. All rooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning and private bathrooms. The roof terrace with exotic plants presents a great view on the old city and Atlas Mountains and is the privileged place for breakfast and relaxation.

Directions

At the entry to the old city from Bab Rob gate, turn immediately to the right, that is the entry to the Kasbah. You have the Moulay Lyazid Mosque in front of you with a parking lot to the left of the mosque. Park your car and walk 20-30 metres to the guest house Dar Tasnime which is the second house (#131) to the left of the little street (Derb Hammam) near the minaret.
Transfers from Marrakech airport can be arranged on request.
