Annah Rais Longhouse Homestay

Annah Rais Longhouse is an authentic Bidayuh tribe longhouse located at approximately 65km away from Kuching. If you are looking to experience the local longhouse traditional life, this is the place for you.

Price include accomodation (homestay concept, with the local family), breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Plenty of things you can do while staying at Annah Rais Longhouse, such as jungle trekking, visit various waterfalls (include a wonderful cascading waterfall), hot spring, bamboo rafting & etc. Local guide is available for hiring to arrange those activities for you.

Directions

To get to the Annah Rais longhouse, there's no bus service to such a remote village, so the only option is to take a taxi. Generally the taxi fare is approximately RM80 to RM100 for one way. Please also book the return in advanced with the same taxi driver.


Or you can email us after the booking through HostelWorld to arrange the transport for you at RM60 one way from Kuching to the Longhouse. RM120 for 2 ways transfer per car (max 4 person only).

Please note that upon arrival at the Annah Rais Longhouse, you are required to pay RM8 for the entrance ticket to the longhouse. Then you can proceed to Mr Edward Gunui's house (no. 71).
