Lough Derg House

Once a barge store this beautiful renovated stone building offers six four person en suite rooms all with views of the harbour.

The property has a self contained kitchen, common room reception area and laundry/drying room.

We are located next door to Lough Derg Yacht Club and the Village is popular with water sports enthusiasts as well as walkers, cyclists, and sky divers. (15Km from sky dive ireland) Dromineer is a great destination for activity breaks and a super base for walking the many local trails,(Your Host is a Qualified Walking Group Leader) we are centrally located 2 hrs from Dublin and Cork 30mins from Limerick and 1hr and 30 mins from Galway, 9Km from Nenagh which is well served with bus and rail services.


The Village has a super pub called the Whiskey Still offering great food and regular music sessions.

Directions

Dromineer is 9Km from Nenagh on the R495, the harbour village is approximately half way between Killaloe (South) and Portumna (North) on Lough Derg, Irelands pleasure lake. It has its own Water Bus for excursions on the lake and Bike hire and Car Hire is available locally.Shannon Airport is 1hour 15 mins away Dublin Airport c 3hs and is served with a direct bus service from Nenagh.
