Fontaines d'Escot is a former monastery, thermal-SPA and refuge for pilgrims ,following the famous St James Way, since the 15thC. Located in the foothills of the Pyrenean mountains and near the famous Aquitaine beaches of Biarritz. We are 35m from Pau, 9km from Oloron Sainte Marie and 30m from the Spanish border. Our location, just next to the international route RN 134 means that we are not “out in the sticks”, but next to a road that is open throughout the year in all weathers. This is an important fact as it guarantees, during winter, safe driving and public transport up to the new tunnel of Somport and the Spanish border with the skiing resorts of Somport, Candanchu and Astun.

Public transport connections just outside the property. There are trains from Pau to Oloron and buses from Oloron going all the way to the spanish border.
