Residence Le Birdie

The Residence Le Birdie comprises nine small residences, all with typical Savoyard architecture, and is located on the 27-hole International Golf de Giez course, 32 kilometres from Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz ski resorts. The 110 apartments open onto balconies and feature typical, warm, mountain-style decor, with wooden floors. All are equipped with cable television and kitchenettes with cookware/dishes, coffee/tea makers, microwaves, mini-ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers.
After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind with a swim in the indoor and outdoor pools. As of 1 April 2006, guests can revitalise tired muscles in the hotel's sauna and hot tub. Non-skiers can practise their serve on the tennis court, enjoy a game of petanque or hire bicycles to explore the mountain trails. Further amenities include a breakfast service, complimentary parking and a safe-deposit box at the front desk. The nearest ski stations, Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, are both 32 kilometres from the hotel. With 49 slopes suitable for beginners, intermediate skiers and snowboarders, Le Grand Bornand is a small resort in the Aravis Pass area that offers 56 kilometres of cross-country and telemark skiing, along with snowshoeing, skidoos and approximately 70 apres-ski restaurants and bars. La Clusaz offers 83 slopes, ranging from gentle inclines for beginners to more challenging pistes for experienced skiers, and a free bus service runs from the village to the lifts. The resort also features a snowboard park, sports centre, ice rink and plenty of hiking trails. Guests can take a trip to Lake Annecy or explore the town of Faverges, both of which are within five kilometres. Geneva International Airport is 70 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of one hour.
Check-in Information

Please note: During the winter season, the front desk is open for check-in Sunday through Friday 8 - 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 - 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 - 10 a.m. and 5 - 7 p.m. Closed Wednesdays. Guests scheduled to arrive after hours should contact the hotel at least 24 hours prior to arrival for special check-in instructions.
