No.5 Guest House

No. 5 Guest House founded in 1995 and was one of the earliest international youth hostel in Dali. In 2008, No. 5 Guest House moved from no. 55 Buo-Ai Rd. to no. 428 Ren-Min Rd. (near East Gate). It is located on the Ren-Min Rd. Pedestrian St. There are many Chinese and Western restaurants and bars nearby. No. 5 Guest House also has a comfortable bar, a Bai-Style garden and a roof terrace for you to see Can Shan, Er Hai and to get sun tan. There are different choices of rooms, 24-hr hot water, free wi-fi, free self-service laundry, Chinese and Western style meals, coffee, billiard balls and table tennis. From Xiaguan bus station:
Expected to pay 40 RMB for a taxi to No.5 Guesthouse/ Four Seasons
Catch a taxi to the No.4 bus terminal which will cost 5 RMB,don't expect the driver will like it.The No. 4 bus leaves every 5 to 10 minutes,the fare is 1.50 RMB per person and the driver don't carry changes.The bus will come through the Old Town(Gu Cheng)from Bo Ai Lu and get off at Ren Min Lu.To your right on Ren
Min Lu walk about 8 to 9 minutes past Ye Yu Lu the Guesthouse is on your right.

From Xiaguan Train Station:
The No.8 bus terminal is not too far from the Exit.Look for the No. 8 bus the fare is 1.50RMB.exact change only.The bus will normally stop at the East Gate(Dong Men) tell the driver anyway.Walk through th Gate about 5 minutes, you'll see the Guesthouse on your left.

From Dali Airport:
Taxi will cost 80 to 100 RMB.for 25 KM.ride.to the Guesthouse.Insisted that the driver go throufh the East Gate(Dong Men)

Important note about taxi driver:
They may tell you stories about guesthouse is closed or other stories......look for another driver.
