Cotton Tree Lodge

Cotton Tree Lodge is an ecolodge nestled on 100 private acres of rainforest in the Toledo District of southern Belize. Guests stay in detached thatched cabanas with private bathrooms. We are off-the-grid, use solar power, and have an organic garden that provides much of the produce for our kitchen.

On Hostelworld we offer ROOM ONLY rates. However, we have a restaurant and bar on-site and we are far from other dining options. Please contact us for all-inclusive and meal package options.

We offer daily tours to the surrounding waterfalls, ruins, villages, caves, and jungles. We are equipped to accommodate individuals, families, honeymooners, weddings, retreats, and student groups. The lodge is recommended for guests age 3 and up, in good physical condition.

Directions

We are just a 2 hour flight from major gateways in the US. Belize travel is easy to arrange with a number of major airlines flying from the United States to Belize City. From there you travel on to Punta Gorda on one of the local airlines. Your adventure begins as you step off the plane in Punta Gorda. We can meet you there and take you on the last leg of your journey by boat. It’s a beautiful trip along the coast and up the Moho River.

Local Belize travel can be arranged through either Maya Airways or Tropic Air. The flights may make stops along the way so flight time varies from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Tropic Air: Local Belize travel on Tropic Airways is offered from Belize International Airport, Belize City, Belize (BZE) to Punta Gorda, Belize (PND) on 5 flights per day with departures leaving at 8:105M, 10:20AM, 12:20PM, 2:20PM, and either 4:40PM or 5:00PM (last flight of the day departure time varies seasonally based on when it gets dark). Return flights from Punta Gorda, Belize (PND) to Belize International Airport, Belize City (BZE) depart at 7:00AM, 9:40AM, 11:35AM, 1:35PM, and 4:00PM.
