The Blue Mountains offers many beautiful bushwalks that cater to the experienced walkers as well as easier walks suited those just wishing to see a few sites. For the more adventurous there is also abseiling, rock climbing and mountain-biking, all of which can be booked literally 1 minute walk from Hotel Gearin. Hotel Gearin offers travellers comfortable and affordable accommodation in true Aussie pub style. Our rooms range from backpacker dormitories, singles & doubles through to a large family room. As the hotel was built at the turn of the century, many of the rooms use shared bathroom facilities, however we do have some ensuite rooms. The rooms have beautiful high ceilings, making them light and airy.

Staying in pubs is the only way to see Australia. You can meet locals and have the convenience of great food, great wine and beer and live entertainment literally at your doorstep.

Follow the signs to the Great Western Highway from Katoomba railway station - the hotel is only one minute walk away.
