Only 20 minutes from the Juan Santamaria International airport and 10 minutes from the Tobias Bolaños Airport in Pavas, we are conveniently located on the Old Road to Santa Ana in the suburb of San Rafael Escazu. We are in walking distance to the International shopping mall Multiplaza and Plaza Roble Business Center in close proximity of Cima Hospital. If you’re here for Business we are just 5 minutes from FORUM and 7 minutes from Office Centro. Directly in front of the property is a public bus stop.

Let us know if you are here for Dental work so we can provide you with the special menu that we offer.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Terrace.

Here at Out of Bounds we try and make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a community microwave, plates and utensils, iron and board, hairdryer, phone, and sitting area for your convience. You are also welcome to use the BBQ grill and fire pit. Laundry service, DVD and Cell phone rentals available for a fee.

Rooms/Suites

Out Of Bounds offers 5 unique rooms: Junior, Deluxe, Superior Room and two Standards Every room is tastefully decorated with local art work and has pine wood floors.

Our Superior Room is located on the first floor, it has 2 comfy Simmons Double beds, it offers a kitchenette with all the basic appliances perfect for travelers with families or those who want to stay longer and need the amenities of a small efficiency or small studio.

Our Deluxe Room has a vaulted ceiling and is located on the second floor. This room Sleeps 5 comfortably, it has two double beds and a sofa bed.

Our Junior Room is located on the first floor. This open room sleeps 2 with a comfortable Queen Size bed. Handicap accessible.

Our Standard Rooms sleeps 2 comfortably with a King size bed or 2 Twin beds. One of the rooms has vaulted ceiling and is located on the second floor and the other room is located on the main level

Our ideal location allows our guests close proximity to amenities such as World Gym and three great Golf Courses. There are numerous excellent Restaurants in the vicinity. Across the street from Out Of Bounds there is the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant. Within walking distance, you will find a wide range of choices including Chinese, Italian and Peruvian Restaurants.

Out of Bounds Tourist Center has been around since 2004. The Hotel came later with a grand opening on Feb 14, 2007 that was full of excitement & joy as we celebrated the beginning of this wonderful journey.

We made sure to put extra touches into the construction, and also overall layout and appearance. In the end we were thrilled with the results! Each room is tastefully decorated with local artisan work, hardwood floors and comfortable bedding for maximum enjoyment while staying here at Out Of Bounds.

Leaving the airport, travel 12 kilometers on the highway towards San Jose. Next, look for the Escazu exit to the right, at the San Jose loop or beltway (circunvalacion in Spanish). Just after the bridge-Denny’s Restaurant to the left. Follow the signs to Escazu and get off at Escazu. Continue straight. At the third traffic light, where Scotia Bank is located on the corner, make a right and take the old road to Santa Ana. On this road, you will pass Burger King and the US Ambassador Residence. Then you will get to Paco Shopping Center where you will continue to follow the curve. We are located 1km west from this point, across from the Taj Mahal Restaurant.
