Viwa Island Resort is a brand new resort located approximately 80 kms from Nadi Airport, northwest of Denarau situated in the beautiful Yasawa Islands of Fiji. Viwa is opening on 1 November 2008. Viwa is an affordable, small, intimate boutique resort catering for adults only. The island is surrounded by a blossoming rich colourful coral reef that is abundant with a variety of aquatic life, making it a fantastic location for diving, fishing, snorkelling and other water sports with a beautiful white sandy beach and pristine, crystal clear turquoise water. The resort features an amazing swimming pool overlooking the beautiful beach, a restaurant with a variety of cuisine specialising in fresh seafood caught locally and fresh produce grown at the resort. It has a relaxing bar with uninterrupted ocean views from every seat together with a boutique, massage facilities, water sports, diving, sports and game fishing and local cultural activities. With only 11 Deluxe Beachfront Bures, a stay at Viwa will be very special and certainly one to remember. Guests can experience the real untouched Fiji. Transfers to the resort are available either by a leisurely launch trip or a scenic helicopter ride. Viwa has 11 Deluxe Bures. The Bures are all beachfront, free-standing, very spacious and beautifully fitted out with the following inclusions: air conditioning, fan cooled, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, in room safe, iron and ironing board, clock/radio, and a large covered balcony with sun lounge. Complimentary activities include snorkelling equipment, kayaks, handline fishing on the reef, offshore snorkelling, table tennis, beach games, nightly entertainment and local cultural activities. There is also a variety of water sports available such as diving, sports and game fishing and snorkelling safaris. Continental breakfast is included in the rates. A meal plan is also available. .
