Terrylin Backpacker's Hostel

Terrylin Backpacker's Hostel is an up-market accommodation facility created for the weary traveller, in the vicinity of South Africa's main airport, OR Tambo International (formerly Johannesburg International Airport).
On arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary beverages, fruit and biscuits in a comfortable, homely environment.

Our baths and showers, with ample hot water, will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for either a good rest in our clean, comfortable dorms or in the outdoors recreation area overlooking the sparkling pool. Or you may also enjoy watching satellite TV, meeting fellow-travellers over a game of pool, or reconnecting with friends and family via the telephone or Internet facilities provided.
If you need your clothing washed - no problem!

The currency is rands and there are credit card facilities.
Check in and out is at any time!

If you're travelling by car, there is ample free and secure parking. Transport facilities for further travels are easily available.
For your convenience, snacks and hygiene requisites are available for purchase in the reception area.

Terrylin has five dormitories - two single-sex with own bathrooms; three mixed with nearby ablutions. A double room is available, with TV and toasty electric blanket for those nippy Highveld nights. Don't worry - warm blankets also provided in the dorms.

Directions from Johannesburg International Airport :
Coming out of the Airport, take the R21 going towards Pretoria.
Once on the R21, the airport is on the right hand side, as well as the airfreight building.
Take the 1st off ramp (Voortrekker Road/ Airfreight Building sign board).
At the traffic light turn left (road splits 3 ways - stay far left) and follow the Rhodesfield signs.
At 1st traffic light, road joins Albatross Street. Follow to next traffic light.
On the left are 2nd hand car dealers. Turn left into Gladiator and continue until the stop sign (church on left).
Turn left into Kingfisher Street and right into Halifax Street. We are number 2 on your immediate left or the corner.

Directions from Pretoria (From N1):
Take the R21 going towards the Johannesburg international Airport.
Take the Voortrekker Road / Airfreight off ramp.
At off ramp traffic light, turn left (road slip 3 ways) - keep far left, and follow the sign to Rhodesfield.
The road joins into Albatross Street.
At 1st traffic light, carry on in Albatross Street to next traffic light. On both corners on left are 2nd hand car dealers.
Turn left into Gladiator Street and carry on to stop sign (church on left).
Turn left into Kingfisher Street and right into Halifax Street. We are number 2 on your immediate left on the corner.

Directions from R24 / Johannesburg
Follow the signs to the airport, but instead of turning into the airport, continue along the R21 towards Pretoria.
Go past the airport.
Take the Voortrekker Road off ramp.
At the traffic light, turn right (road splits 3ways) - follow the Rhodesfield sign.
The road joins Albatross Street.
At 1st traffic light (on the corner to the left are 2nd hand car dealers) turn left into Gladiator.
Carry on to stop sign (church on left).
Turn left into Kingfisher Street and right into Halifax Street.
We are number 2, immediately to your left, on the corner.
