Riga Airport name (RIX): Approximate driving time to Hotel Elefant is 5 minutes and distance is 5 kilometres (3 miles).
Getting there: Express bus number 22A runs every 10-30 minutes to Riga city centre. Tickets can be purchased on board and cost LVL 0.40. Bus number 22 also goes to the city centre but takes longer. Alternatively, taxis are available outside Arrivals and charge LVL 5- LVL 7 to the Elefant Hotel. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around: The city centre and old town can be comfortably explored on foot. Riga is well served by an efficient public transport system of trams, buses, and trolleybuses; some routes also offer night services. Each mode of transport requires a separate ticket; these can be purchased from the onboard conductor. Train services to destinations throughout the country run from the central train station.
