Hannari

hannari” is conveniently located in central Kyoto, within walking distance of Nijo castle and the Imperial palace.
The majority of tourist sights can be accessed easily from “hannari” by bicycle, bus or by walking.
We recommend cycling to the scenic spots and the many temples and shrines. Our location provides a good base for your outings. Unlike Kyoto station, which is further south and further from the main attractions.

“hannari” is a newly established guesthouse in central Kyoto providing air conditioned rooms, free drinks including Japanese sake as well as a pleasant atmosphere.

Baggage storage services
We could keep your baggae if you are coming back to hannari after checking out, or you arrive earlier than the check-in time.

■Appearance
A traditional merchant’s family house using black and white as the basic tone.

■Resting Area
A place where you could communicate with other travelers, watch TV and make yourself at home.

Basically, we are a non-smoking facility, for smokers, please turn on the exhausting fan here. Please do not smoke if there are other guests around.


■Shower
2The shower can be used 24-hour a day. Shampoos, conditioners, body soaps, face washes and make-up removers are all provided.


■Bathroom
The bathroom can be used 24-hour a day. Shampoos, conditioners, body soaps, face washes and make-up removers are all provided


■Washbasin
Handsoaps, face washes, toothpaste, make-up removers, cotton, skin toning lotion, emulsion, cotton swabs are all provided.

Please feel free to use the kitchen. However, please remember to put your name on the food you put into the refrigerator.

Please feel free to use it, but please do not occupy for too long if other guest is waiting.


■Lockers
Please keep all your valuable belongings. Please use the locker here.

You can exchange them after use

■Bicycles Rental
The first 15 mins is free　
From 15 mins to 3 hours, it costs 100yen an hour　
From 3 hours to 1 day, it costs 400yen.

We only have a limited number of bikes, first-come first-served.There are shops near Nijo Station such as Rental Cycle, Deribari Rental Cycle shop and so on.


【■Late Check-in】
If you check-in after our working hours 10pm, we ask for an extension fee of 500yen per 30 mins.

Directions

Bus From Kyoto station (20mins Bus + 5mins Walk)

(1) Leave Kyoto station through the main exit. You will see Kyoto tower behind the main bus terminal.

(2) Take bus No.9 or No.50 to HORIKAWA-SHIMODACHIURI.

(3) At the bus stop turn right onto the street by Fresco. Walk to the 6th sidestreet.

(4) Turn left and after a few seconds you will see us on the right,


Train from Kyoto station (5mins Train + 15mins Walk)

(1) Take the LOCAL train from platform 32 or 33 and get off at NIJO station.

(2) Exit east, You will see GOLD GYM, Turn left and walk north up the main street (SENBON DORI).

(3) After about 7mins, you will see a convenience store (CircleK Sunkus) by the coner of an intersection. Turn right onto the main steet (MARUTAMACHI DORI).

(4) After about 5mins, and passing 3 traffic lights, turn left onto 1st sidestreet (HIGURASHI DORI) afer the 3rd traffic light (MARUMAMACHI CHIEKOIN).

(5) Walk 2mins noth passing a small cross road and you will find us on the left.
