In the medieval core of Pistoia, a few steps away from one of the most wonderful squares in Italy “Piazza Duomo”, our relais is awaiting you in its quiet rooms so well-furnished in the late XIX-earlyXX century style.

They are located in an aged palace of Renaissance Age, once owned by the Buonfantis, an old family of the local nobility. Thanks to its favourable position between the Appennine Tosco-Emiliano with its outstanding ski resort the “Abetone” and the Tyrrhenian Sea with its famous tourist venue “Viareggio”(both of them are at about one hour’s drive from Pistoia), being in proximity of the most well-known Tuscan destinations (Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena) and of renowned spa centers (Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme), away from the environmental and acoustic pollution as well as the chaotic life of the great cities, our B&B is able to offer you an unforgettable stay under banner of the culture, psycho-physical wellbeing, relax and the specialities of the genuine traditional Tuscan cuisine.


“Relais Buonfanti” will allow you to discover little by little Tuscany and to appreciate all its artistic, naturalistic as well as eno-gastronomic highlights, leaving from Leonardo da Vinci’s land and ranging from the Pistoia Appennine in the north, to the Pisan Maremma, to Volterra outland, to Grossetan Maremma in the south, from Garfagnana, the Apuan Alps, the Versilia, the Lunigiana in the west and from the Tuscan Archipelago in the south south-west, to Casentino, to Siena outland with its noted Chianti, to Val d’Orcia and Valdichiana in the south south-east.

On this subject we have devised a series of conventions with several local enterprises, providing for tourist facilities, means, restaurants, healthy centres, you will be able to use so as to enliven your holiday, enjoying thoroughly the thousand resources this land may offer you.

Our B&B is situated just in the historical centre of Pistoia 200 m from Piazza del Duomo, between the Church of S. Bartolomeo and the hospital Ospedale del Ceppo, a ten- minute walk from the Railway Station.
The apartment, that has recently achieved the label 'Q' relating the Italian high qualified hospitality, thanks to its arrangement, composed of a triple bedroom “Il Roseto” (with a double bed and a single bed), a double room “L’Agrumeto” (with two bunk beds), overlooking a variegated and pleasant kitchen garden, a bathroom with a comfortable seated shower in common and a spacious kitchen very well-equipped, is suitable for individual trips, honeymoons, business trips as well as educational holidays and tours.
We’ve provided for children discounts (4 to 14 years old), as free under 4 years, and promotions for long periods. Moreover a 10% discount on the total amount of the rent will be granted to the Touring Club’s Fellows and the clients of the Zoological Garden of Pistoia.

Directions

From the airport:
for whoever comes from by car from the Airport G. Galilei in Pisa, the Airport A. Vespucci in FLorence, as well as from all the other Tuscan cities, will due to take the highway A11 Firenze-Mare/E76, from the Airport Marconi will have the possibility of following the S.S 64-Porrettana as well as the A14 and the A1/E35, so as to join with the A11/E76, get out finally at the exit of Pistoia and follow the indications for the centre firstly and secondly for the Hospital l'Ospedale del Ceppo' .

From the Highway - Exit at Pistoia
As soon as got out from the tollgate keep the right and follow the direction towards the centre, at the round point keep the left and take the third exit SP9/Via Bonellina, at the stop turn on the left and enter the SS66/SR66/ Via Cesare Battisti, then turn on the right and the first on the left. As soon as arrived in Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci, turn on the right in Piazza della Resistenza, at the round point turn on the left along Viale Arcadia and go straight on a few meters. Finally turn on the left in Vicolo Arcadia, at the stop turn on the right in Piazza dei Servi, go straight along Via dei Baroni. Enter in the opposit street Via del Fiore, at the stop turn on the left and keep going along Via Buonfanti, (3 km, 00h10).

From the Railway Station:
for whoever is without any means and arrives in Italy by airplane, may choose if shifting by train through the line Firenze SMN-Pisa, or Bologna-Firenze, get out at the stop of Pistoia and take a taxi (phone +39 0573 534444)
