Thumbs Up Hostel

Hi,everyone,my name is Gabe,i'm the owner of Thumbs Up Hostel.
First of all i would like to thank all of those who chose us or recommended us to others.Don't forget,the hostel is nothing by itself-the peple make it what it is!!The hostel is based on my travelling experience and it has been quite successfull,but there is always room for improvement.We are going to be one year old at the end of this month(November)and for our first birthday we thought it would be nice to make it even better.So,we will be closing down for 2 weeks for a full renovation.
Second of all,New Years Eve is just around the corner.We gonna surprise are guests with free champaigne,open buffet and also with very usefull gifts for backpackers.For this special weekend the minimum booking is 4 night.

I'm an experienced traveler and i staid a lot of hostel during my travel and let me tell you i wasn't happy all the time so i mixed my experience and putted them into my own hostel .Couple of things that i want to point it out for you guys to choose my hostel and i let you decide:

Location:
You wanna be in the center where you can reach everything what you need and you don't need to use the train just to get a piece of fun.Well we are located in the center so from 5 minutes walking time you can find clubs,restaurants,bars,super markets,fast food restaurants and non-stop shops and not at last subway,train,bus stations nearby us also to famous historical buildings such as house of parliament,chain bridge,national museum,heroes square,thermal baths and many more

Price:
They said you get what you paid for but you get more here.As you can see it we have a reasonable prices,but the price what you pay for your bed also include: Free Breakfast(trust me you are going to love it)

All day Cafe and tea

Common area:
Main part of the hostel.We have a huge common area with HD cable TV with foreign language shows,comfortable sets sofas,and computers

Cleanliness:
Like i said brand new 'ringing a bell'. Pretty much everything is brand new and we keep it this way. A staff will look after you.

How to get from the airport:

Take Airport Bus(no. 200) to Kőbánya kispest,there change to M3(Blue Line metro) take it to Nyugati Railway Station. Here change to tram 4 or 6 and take it to Wesselényi utca stop(third stop).When you get off from the tram look for shop called SCHLENCKER (blue and white shop) at the corner,that is Wesselényi utca(street). Walk in Wesselényi utca and turn left at the first street(Kertész utca).The hostel is located under number 18(20 meter from the junction).At the keypad look for Thumbs Up.

Hot to get from International Railway Station(Keleti Railway Station).

Take Red Line metro to Blaha Lujza tér.Here change to tram 4 or 6 and take it to Wesselényi utca stop(first stop).When you get off from the tram look for shop called SCHLENCKER (blue and white shop) at the corner,that is Wesselényi utca(street).Walk in Wesselényi utca and turn left at the first street(Kertész utca).The hostel is located under number 18(20 meter from the junction).At the keypad look for Thumbs Up.
