Sailboat

Cadeau is 13.5 metres long and displace 14 tons wwa (without wine aboard). Her 100 sq. mts. of sail can push her to 8 knots or more when surfing. The spinnaker is 170 sq. mts. and gives a lot of emotions as well as work. Swan’s typical companionway is horizontal and gives access to the main living area. The woodwork is impeccable, of semi-satinated teak. Two very large cabins ensures a very high level of comfort. Italian (Etro) beddings and British upholstery. Gourmet galley and widely referenced.

Destinations

The archipelago of the Cyclades, in the middle of the Aegean Sea, owes its name to the fact that the islands forming it encircle the rocky islet of Delos (“cyclade” means “ring” in Greek), which in ancient time was considered the political and religious centre of the known world. 21 bigger islands and 20 smaller ones: among them are many places still uninhabited and wild. All of them are delightful and each of them expresses its own nature.

Photo #2 - Sailing with Ulysses - from France to Greece - aegean islands greece sailing The Cyclades are considered and known all over the world as the most typical part of Greece. Unique distinctive features are the stony houses painted in white with their light blue domes, plenty of windmills, amazing beaches of golden sand, ancient ruins surviving time, several little taverns that serve very good meat or fish dishes not forgetting the excellent locally produced wine.

Typical Day

We wake up with a dive in the turquoise waters, go with the winds, eat with the gods and drink with the friends.

Sleeping and meals

If a journey neglects the pleasures and the traditions of gastronomy, the memories it will impress will be never complete, always insipid and seldom remarkable. Combined delights of travelling and food find the supreme balance in a private gourmet cruise. While the skipper and the yacht will sail between the bays and havens of your selected destination, the cook will introduce your senses to the culinary marvels and gastronomic traditions of the sea. The Mediterranean is our favourite gourmet playground, a sea where the diversity of ingredients, techniques and traditions is so great that any other competitor will look like a McDonald’s in comparison. Just think about a simple fish soup… One can happily spend weeks tasting Sopa de Mariscos in Spain, Bouillabaisse in Marseille, Caciucco in Livorno, Kakarvia in Greece and Gregada in Croatia, just to name some of them! What makes a gourmet cruise so special?
