Fernloft City (Little India) is created as our flagship branch of Fernloft Group of Hostels!

Apart from our tradition values that governs all Fernloft Hostels – comfortable, clean, convenient, cheap, caring and with loads of character, Fernloft City (Little India) is established to create a near hotel experience but yet without losing the fun hostel appeal.

Nested in one of the earliest settlement districts in Singapore, Little India welcomes you to a unique experience of Singapore. Here, the heartland of the Indian community is a cacophony of colors, sounds and scents, soaked with colorful and cheerful atmosphere that offers endless shopping bargains, exotic local food, historical attractions and rich cultural experiences.


Our hostel boosts a variety of air-conditioned rooms, starting from 4 beded dormitory to private double rooms. Prices starts from as low as $16 only! We are surely giving our compeitiors a run for their money!

The hostel also contain an in-house bar (yes, it’s well stocked with international beer) & Travel Café (first of its kind in Singapore!) where one can chill out while getting all their travel needs sorted out. Among others, our in-house facilities & services also includes welcome drink, breakfast pantry, a guest lounge with a plasma TV, resort-style toilets, 24hrs security, an elevator (no need to lug your luggage up those stairs!), personal electrical power points, laundry and ironing facilities, and a bed bugs free spring mattress to ensure you enjoy your slumber!

ACCESSIBILITY AND TRANSPORTATION
We are located along the main road that leads to the main city & at the fringe of the famous Little India. For those who enjoy strolling through interesting shops and eateries, we are just 15 mins walk to the main city. We are also connected by public buses and subway that brings you to almost anywhere in Singapore.

We are flanked by 2 main subway stations that are within walking distances (less than 500m away)- Farrer Park MRT (NE8) and Bugis MRT (EW12) Stations. The Latter station is located along the East West MRT Line, thus, you may conveniently take the train direct from the airport straight to us.

The Malaysia Bus Terminal and the Queen Street Bus Terminal are also a thrown away from us.

Fernloft City (Little India) is surrounded by a kaleidoscopic landscape, where traditions come alive! Discover the unique Indian handicraft works, street markets and even Indian fortune telling shops. The other nearby attractions are the historical buildings – the Sri Veerama Kaliamman Hindu Temple and the Leong San Buddhist Temple, which are rated as the most beautiful in Singapore. At the further end of this district is the Arab enclave, which provides an array of Arabian food, shisha cafes and is home to the oldest mosques in Singapore, the Sultan Mosque built in 1824.

Follow your nose to excellent restaurants in Little India and be spoilt for choices. Here, you find the finest and most traditional North and South Indian cuisine. Prices vary from the small eateries to modern restaurants.

The Singapore’s best local hawker food - The Lavender Food Square is also within close proximity. Little India is famous for its rich traditional and cultural shopping experience. Shop for authentic Indian saris, bangles, bags and accessories to delight your loved ones back home. Multi-colored and eclectic yet small and packable, trinkets from Little India are a backpacker’s best souvenir choice.

For those with a little more cash in the pocket, City Square Mall will be your choice. With over 70,000 sq ft of retail stores and services, here is where you get your retail and shopping therapy.
