In a beautiful berber village called Ouirgane, at 1000 m high and from one hour drive south of Marrakech, on Asni road, the Ksar Shama offers to its visitors a breathtaking panoramic view on the white snow-capped Atlas mountains.

There you will find a peaceful and relaxing place to rest and get up in the morning with the birds sing. On its olive grove of 15 hectares grow many kind of fruit trees and roses which contribute to give its exceptional character to this delightful place.

Its typical berber cottages built in pisé preserve the authentic style of this region. All wooden elements such as doors or furniture are hand curved, you will be filled with wonder by the colourful berber carpet which dress the rooms, the fine tadlakt on the walls and the tataoui craftmen work on the ceiling.


If you look for an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, our guest house welcomes you for an exceptional stay. There one's can discover the surrounding berber villages and share a mint tea or a meal with a family near the so pretty Azzaden river.

How to come at Ksar Shama :

We are situated at one hour south from Marrakech, take Asni direction (Amimiz-Taroudant road), you wil pass through Tahanaout after 30 mn driving and then Asni, go straight on until Marigha, on the top of the hill before the Mosquee, we are on your right hand.
