Granny's Inn Hostel

Granny’s Inn is a brand new, family run hostel which is ideal for travelers (minimum 20 years) , who wish to have a comfortable stay when visiting Malta for both a short or long period. It is situated at only 20minutes away from the airport.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WHEN BOOKING WITH HOSTELWORLD, YOU INSERT YOUR FLIGHT ARRIVAL TIME (not the time you think you will arrive at the hostel) PLEASE!!

Guests must advice us with Flight arrival time and flight number at all times. please specify if you are arriving between 12pm - 5pm and after 8pm.

***Arrivals after 21:00 and before 07:00 will be charged an extra Euro 5.00***

It is conveniently situated within walking distance from:
* Sliema Waterfront - Malta’s top tourist area where one can find a nice promenade together with bars, restaurants and shopping malls.
* Paceville – Malta’s famous night spot: for clubs and night life. One can also find shopping malls, bars and restaurants.
* Bus stations – Easy walking distance to main bus routes. Also close to the ferry in Sliema which goes to Valletta.
* Beaches – A long stretch of sea front where you can soak up the sun and refresh yourself in the cooling waters is just down the road.
Complimenting the six bedrooms, at Granny’s Inn we have a kitchen area, where continental breakfast is served on complimentary basis every morning.

On the third floor one can relax on a spacious sofa in the TV room which includes an LCD TV with DVD player.

Granny’s Inn is able to cater for guests singles and dorm rooms, all non-smoking. The dorms, one of which with a balcony, are all furnished with bunk beds.

Each room consists of:
• High standard of furniture
• Ceiling fans & heating system
• Carefully located lights
• Over bed reading lights
• Wash hand basin with a mirror on top
• Refrigerator
• Tea and Coffee making facilities
• Desk for study area

Towels are changed every 3 days and rooms’ cleaning (included linen changes) is carried out once a week.

Customer has to be minimum 20 years old.

Guests are all given a front door key.

Directions

When arriving by air, you can opt to take the bus (make sure you have 0.47 Euro for each ride).The bus service runs from 6am to 8pm. From the airport, take bus No. 8 to Valletta and then change to bus No. 62/ 64/ 68 to Sliema to get down at the bus stop near Caras Coffee Shop and the Plaza Hotel. From there walk up St. Francis Street which is right in between the coffee shop and hotel. Take the fourth turning on the left which brings you to Blanche Huber Street. You will see Granny's Inn Hostel just 2 minutes away.

A taxi pick up is always recommended to facilitate arrival at the hostel on your first day (this can be booked through the hostel)

Kindly note that Receptionist/owner will not be at the Hostel Between 12pm - 5pm & from 8pm onwards , therefore it is important that you give owners the precise flight number and arrival time in order for them to be at the hostel on your arrival.
