The nearest railway stations are in Kretinga (12 km) and Klaipeda. Buses from Kretinga and Klaipeda to Palanga leave every 15 minutes.


The nearest seaport is Klaipeda (25 km from Palanga). Ferry lines connect this port with Aarhus and Aabernaa in Denmark, Karlshamn and Åhus in Sweden, Mukran, Kyl and Travemiunde in Germany.

There are direct buses from Liepaja, Riga, Kaliningrad and Moscow.

Hotel Gamanta is located in the downtown of Palanga in the Plytu Street 7 (on the same street, where the biggest store Maxima is). In 10-15 minutes on foot you will reach almost all famous locations. Places to see in Palanga - Botanical park and the biggest amber museum in the world, pier, Basanavicius street famous of it's night and day life - bars/restaurants, Darius & Girenas street – jazz, blues music, sandy beaches...

Just 2 minutes from the bus station and about 15 min from the airport.

How to reach the hotel:
1) From the bus station you can reach the hotel either on foot (approx. 6 min) or by taxi.
Than facing the bus station, the street on the left is called Kretingos street. You should go back (the entrance to the bus station should be behind you) through this street till the second street (Plytu street) - crossroad with the traffic lights. Turn to the right and after about 50 meters you will reach the hotel.

2) From the airport. The best way is to take a taxi - about 6 EUR (taxi stop is near the entrance) or by bus (not very often). If you need a taxi, please tell us before arriving (your name/ arrival time /flight number) and we will find one for you, extra charge applies.

How to find the hotel? It takes about 15-20 minutes by the car or taxi to reach the hotel. Drive down the road Klaipedos Plentas until the crossroad with traffic lights (on your left should be Lukoil gas station and in another side of the crossroad Lukoil gas station). Turn to the right (Kretingos street) and drive straight till the next crossroad with the traffic lights (you will see hotel Gamanta commercial stand on the opposite left corner). Turn left - Plytu Street and after about 50 meters will be hotel Gamanta (on the left - Plytu Street 7).

3) From Klaipeda / Kaunas or capital Vilnius. Follow the highway A11 straight Kretingos street (you have to pass the crossroad with 2 gas stations called Lukoil and Statoil). On the next crossroad with traffic lights turn left to Plytu street (the hotel is after 50 meters). If you have driven till the Maxima store (the biggest store in Palanga) you are a bit too far, so turn back.
