Our Agritourism is an historical rural lodge situated at the edge of gentle uplands POPULATED SINCE THE NEOLITHIC PERIOD, only 5 mls from the centre of Verona.
Its name 'DELO' comes from the temple devoted by the Romans to the God APOLLO DELIO (from DELO island) on the near hill. It is embellished with a romantic tower, of the IX century and is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and bushes, at an altitude of nearly 570 feet in a place of outstanding natural beauty.
Both the land and the buildings have been restored accurately and sensitively, treating the landscape and constructions with great love and respect.
The salvaging of old ceilings and stone walls, the laying of floors in antique terracotta tiles and the use of authentic 18th and 19th Century fittings, create an atmosphere of great serenity, warmth and refinement. Thanks to the well thought-out room planning, customised furniture, the cultural atmosphere and the quality and warmth of the welcome, the facility offers the charm and elegance of a refined and exclusive country retreat.
By being welcomed directly into the house by the family, visitors will be able to share the cultural values of the owners, in a traditionally Italian lifestyle, which is respectful to the house, its layout and its natural feeling.
Three double-bedded rooms, one double, two carefully furnished two-room suites with a functional cooking area and four wide and elegant junior suites, offer a diversified and high-quality stay. All the rooms have visible wooden beams and antique terracotta flooring tiles and are furnished with original 18th and 19 th Century fittings, refined carpets and other adornments; they enjoy expansive and enchanting panoramas. Every room is equipped with private baths with a wide shower, telephone, television and free wide band internet, hair drier, modern installations for heating and air conditioning, high-quality doors and windows with mosquito-net and soundproofing devices. (Please note that it is not permitted to smoke inside the buildings). The particular beauty of the place offers the opportunity for cycling, hiking and jogging among olive groves, vineyards and woods. Riding and golf can be attained in less than half an hour. Interesting enological and gastronomical experiences are possible at the wineries and oil mills of the area. The fortunate position of Agritourism facilitates the search for any destination. Verona is the natural destination; it is rich in Roman and medieval monuments and, as well as being classed as a world heritage site by UNESCO, it is the fourth most-visited tourist centre in Italy. The city is a prime cultural venue, combining an opera season at the Arena, a Roman Theatre, a symphony season in September, a prose season and also other cultural manifestations. Furthermore, Verona is an important business centre through its trade fairs and is characterised by a great vitality. As for the surroundings, it takes less than half an hour to reach the mountains of Verona, the splendid cities of Mantua and Vicenza and Lake Garda. In less than an hour one can reach Venice, Padua, Parma and Brescia, and in less than two, Milan and Florence.

1.From Verona: (gps: 'Novaglie' or 'Strada della Giara' or 'Via del Torresin' dependung on your GPS)
- You follow the direction 'Boscochiesanuova -Valpantena'; - after leaving the city, at the 3rd roundabout, you turn right into Strada della Giara, following the indications to 'Nesente', 'Novaglie' and 'San Fidenzio'.
- at the next crossroads you proceed straight [indication 'Agriturismo Delo' - 'Novaglie'] into 'Via Monsignor Carraro'
- at the entry to the village of Novaglie, you proceed to the right [indication 'Agriturismo Delo'-->'San Fidenzio'], into 'Via Pradelle').
- after a rising slope of about 880 yards you turn right [indication 'Agriturismo Delo' -->] into 'Via del Torresin'. After a wide curve towards the left, the road continues straight for a short while, then through a beautiful descent into an appealing arcade of tree branches.
- at the end of the descent, [indication 'Agriturismo Delo'] you turn right on the unmade road which leads to Agriturismo.

2. from the motorway, Milano-Venezia, tolbooth for Verona Est: (gps: 'Novaglie' or 'Strada della Giara' or 'Via del Torresin' dependung on your GPS)

- You follow the eastern Bypass ('Tangenziale Est') in the direction of 'Valpantena' (brown road sign) for 5 miles.
- On leaving the motorway at the exit for 'Valpantena', at the roundabout, you turn to the right into 'Strada della Giara' in the direction of Novaglie and San Fidenzo, as above.
- Verona Porta Nuova Railway station at 10 km
- Verona airport at 25 km (southern and eastern bypass)
