A discerningly restored villa keeping the original appearance intact. Finely decorated rooms, with precious designed terrazzo floors and Liberty style furniture, which create welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Memories of far off travels give a special tone to a modernized equipped guest house. The bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, satellite TV, air conditioning not ready, telephone and internet available.The villa is situated in the centre of S. Maria del Giudice, a small old village, just a few kilometers from Lucca and Pisa. The sea and the mountains are within easy reach of the guest house. Daily trips can be easily made to Florence, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra and other towns.
Great care is taken in preparing breakfast, personally made by the owner (Marta’s breakfast). Breakfast is served in the sunny veranda or in the garden. The Villa has a private car park. TV and reading rooms are available even to meet other guests and to plan daily excursions. Moments of relaxation can be had in the spacious and well kept garden. Private dinners and parties can be organized on request. Vegetarian welcome. Local cuisine courses and restoring 'affresco painting' courses are available on demand.

Directions

The villa is situated in the centre of S. Maria del Giudice, a small old village, just a few kilometers from Lucca and Pisa.
By Car: Coming from the centre of Lucca follow the directions for Pisa SS 12 Bis for about 7 km beginning from the Autostrada (motorway) A11 exit. The SS12 Bis goes across the village of S.Maria del Giudice, you will find the village centre on the right coming from Lucca following the signs for S.Maria del Giudice, the Guest House is about 300 metres from the centre of the village, Via del Querceto is on the left of Via 24 Maggio which from the village centre goes towards Catro. Coming from Florence follow the A11 in direction of Pisa Nord exit Lucca Est. Coming from the opposite direction, from Pisa Nord or Genova/Viareggio A12, exit Lucca Ovest and follow the directions “tutte le direzione” until on your right you see directions to Pisa to be followed until you find the sign for S.Maria del Giudice.
Recommend car hire companies are: Hertz, Europcar, Avis others on demand (all offices are in Pisa Airport or nearby us in Lucca).
By Train: Take the line Florence-Viareggio or Pisa-Lucca get off at Lucca station. Possible transfers on request to and from Pisa Centrale, Viareggio or various Florence stations.
By Air: Pisa Airport G.Galilei or from Florence Airport A. Vespucci. On request transfers to and from both airports. Budget Airlines are: operating to/from Pisa(PSA) Ryanair, TuiFly, Meridiana (all by web or local agencies); to/from Florence(FLR) Sterling, FlyBaboo, Belair, Meridiana.
