B&b Palazzo Coco

Let yourself be captivated by magic of this place, of colours lost in time between sky and sea. We are located on one of the most ancient parts of Maiori on the 'Divine Amalfi Coast', right behind Santa Maria a Mare's Church.

The 170 steps will lead you to the historic path of 'Palazzo Coco'. The spectacular panoramic view and the warm hospitality will accompany you through the most relaxing journey. Just take a look from one of our balconies and you'll know that you are not dreaming. Our rooms have all the modern comforts, the furniture is typical of the Amalfi coast, featuring the famous maiolic tiles from Vietri we offers its guests a laundry service as well.

Breakfast: Every morning we will serve in our breakfast room our continental breakfast in order to make sure that our guests start the day in the best possible way.
In general: Our friendly and familiar staff is willing to welcome you and help you in everything you might need. We are at your complete disposal to organize at your request guided tours and sightseeing tours in the Amalfi Coast or in Naples or Pompei and to reserve tickets. If you want to have dinner in the area and need suggestions for good restaurants, we are at your disposal to indicate you the best ones nearby.


Parking: We have also a private park for our guests (10 euros each day). Palazzo Cocò B&B is situated in the small village of Maiori which is one of the most ancient villages of the Amalfi Coast. If you want to shop, you will find many boutiques and shopping centres nearby, from arts and crafts to jewellery and clothing, as well as wines and spirits.
Palazzo Cocò in Maiori lies literally in the middle of the Amalfi Coast which makes us the perfect starting point for your sightseeing days in this unforgettable area.
Fantastic tours and amazing excursions are also available not only along the Amalfi Coast but also in the Gulfs of Salerno and Naples. At 500 meters from the B&B there are the sea side and the main promenade of this beautiful village.

Directions

By Car:
Coming from the North take the A3 highway until you get to Vietri Sul Mare. Then take the coastal road called the 163 SS (Strada Statale) Costiera Amalfitana. Enjoy the view until you reach Maiori, then from Maiori's seafront follow signs towards Amalfi. When you arrive to the restaurant 'La Vela', turn right (Via Barche a Vela) and follow for 50 meters. At the cross road, turn left (Via Orti) and continue for 30 meters after the crossroad of the SISA's market. At the next crossroad turn right (Via Capitolo), follow for 40 meters and turn left. On the big curve there is the B&B's car park, continue up to the principal Church (S.Maria a Mare), you will find the 150 stairs, to reach our B&B you have to climb all of them.
For those coming from the South should follow the A3 to Vietri Sul Mare and then take the 163 SS.
By Bus:
There is a bus service at the Salerno Railway Station that departs every hour. If your coming from Rome there is also a bus service at the Tiburtina Station straight to Maiori. For those coming from Amalfi there is the Marozzi bus service that services Amalfi, Maiori, Capodichino Airport and Napoli Centrale Railway Station.

By Ferry:
There are both ferry and a hydrofoil services departing from Beverello Pier in Naples and arriving at 'Piazza della Concordia' in Salerno that is close the Railway Station and the bus terminal. From there you can easily catch a train or a bus to Amalfi.

By Plane:
The closest airport is in Naples, approximately a 1½ hour. Then you can take the train or the bus to Salerno or Vietri sul Mare.
