Looking for that special travellers-vibe you experienced in India? You can find it right in the center of Tel Aviv! We brought that “indian guesthouse feeling” to Israel. The guesthouse is located in a big travellers-meeting-place. Here you can meet new people over a hot Chai, a big plate of Thali or other typical indian dishes. In the evening you can go down to our 24-hour-bar and taste our choice of israeli beers. And in summer you hang out on our rooftop that is working as a bar and as an open-air-cinema. Apart from those interesting options regarding your social life in Israel you can sleep in one of our cosy rooms. Choose either from the basic, cheap dorm-room or from more private options like double-rooms.
A big breakfast fresh from our restaurant-kitchen is included in the price. Otherwise we also have kitchen facilities in guesthouse.
The Guesthouse is located in the funky, upcoming quarter of Florentin in the south of Tel Aviv. This is the perfect base for exploring the city - since it is 15 min by foot from the beach and the old city of Yafo, 5 min from the artist quarter Neve Zedek, Nahalat Binyamin streetmarket, the lively Rothshild Avenue, etc.

Also: there are good connections to public transportation nearby.

Directions

If you arrive in Tel Aviv:

BY BUS: get off at'Tachanat Merkazit' which is the 'new central bus station'.
From here it is 5 min by Taxi (check the info for 'BY TAXI' !!!) or you can walk (check 'BY FOOT')

BY FOOT:
You can also walk from the new central bus-station'tachanat merkazit': Go straight down Levinsky Street (in the direction towards the sea) for about 15 minutes until you can turn left into Hamashbir Street. There is no street sign from Levinsky Street into Hamashbir Street, so just know that the left turn is 1 street before Herzl Street. The guesthouse is at the end of Hamashbir Street on the right.

BY TRAIN:
get off at 'Hagana'-Station. The train-station is 5 min by foot from the 'new central bus-station'. So when you come out of the trainstation take a left to the Bus-station and just follow the directions of 'BY FOOT' or just take a taxi.

BY TAXI:
directions for the driver:
tell him that Hamashbir Street is in the Florentin-district and that the best way is to drive down Derech Yafo and to turn (one street before Herzl Street ) left into Hamashbir Street and then the guesthouse is at the end of the street on the right.

!!! Tell the driver to put on the taxi-meter and not to make a fixed price !!!

FROM THE AIRPORT:
BY TRAIN FROM THE AIRPORT: you can take a train directly from the airport to 'Hagana'-station, which is very close to our hostel.
The train ride costs about 12 Shekel.
BY TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT:
make sure you go to the official taxi-stand otherwise they will rip you off. (there are taxi-drivers near the entrance that will ask you if you need a taxi.Don't go with them...)

a taxi-ride from the airport to our guesthouse costs about 110 Shekel. (Tell the driver to put on the taxi-meter and NOT to make a fixed price!).
