Lettermore Country Home is situated beside Avondale Forest Park, home of Charles Stuart Parnell. Avoca village is four miles away and is the location of the very popular BBC TV series, Ballykissangel. Avoca is situated in a picturesque valley stretching back to the Meeting of the Waters which is two miles away.

Glendalough, the valley of the two lakes, is one of Ireland's most notable locations for scenic, historical and archaeological reasons. Approaching from the east or descending upon it through the Wicklow Gap from the west, it is shrouded in beauty, mystery and tranquillity.

Directions

Lettermore Country Home is situated two miles south of Rathdrum on the Avoca Road (R752). From Dublin Airport take the M50 to Blessington, Hollywood, Wicklow Gap, Laragh, Rathdrum.

There are trains daily from Dublin and Rosslare.
