Originally a traditional home in Honduras' ex-capital city, Comayagua, visitors are sure to have an authentic colonial experience during their stay in this exclusive 10-room inn. We have tailored each and every inch of the property in order to preserve the flavor of colonial times, while ensuring guests a most comfortable stay.
The colonial style rooms are not only comfortable, but with stucco-paved walls, traditional red brick floors, and bathrooms lined with the hand-painted tiles originally from Talevera, Spain, the décor of each room is impressive.
The furnishings of each room are made from a precious dark wood, native to Honduras, called Caoba. The colonial designs in the wood have been hand-carved by local artisans.
On the walls, visitors may appreciate the exquisite paintings depicting religious icons of colonial times. These paintings are set on hand-carved frames, painted in gold. Additionally, in the breakfast room, a gorgeous traditional Honduran landscape is displayed.
