Our Moulin is an impressive converted 18th century flour mill situated in the magnificent valley of the Rance. We are ideally placed in a charming wooded valley yet a mere stones throw from the historic medieval town of Dinan and its delightful ancient port.

The region is perfect for holidaymakers with something to offer everyone from the energetic cyclist to the cheese and wine connoisseur.

Le Moulin has five comfortable self-conatined en-suite bedrooms including a family room that accommodates four.
A continental breakfast is served in the attractive dining area, or on the south facing terrace. Tea and coffee making facilities are available for guests at any time.

There is a courtyard area where you are welcome to barbaque on warm summer evenings or you can enjoy your aperitif on the lawned area by the millpond watching for herons, kingfishers, deer and other wildlife.


There is ample parking and a lockable shed for bicycles or motorbikes. We are conveniently located from St Malo ferry port (30 mins), Dinard Airport (15 mins), Roscoff (2 hours)

Directions

From St Malo:

Look for the signs to Rennes, they will lead you to Route 137 Dinan / Rennes. Don’t get mixed up with Dinard. Proceed along the 137 until you see the Dinan N176 turn off. Go along the N176 to the Dinan Centre turn off. At the T-junction turn left. Proceed towards Dinan. You will see a shopping complex on your right ( Intermarche etc. ) . Continue past the complex, down the hill. You will see a blue Chambres D’Hotes sign on your left and then a left turn signposted Port de Dinan. Take this left turn and proceed down this country road, passing the lake on your left and the first place you see after passing the lake is Le Moulin. (Approx driving time 30 mins)

From Rennes:

Take N137 Rennes / St Malo . Turn off the N137 at sign for Lanvallay D794.
Proceed to Lanvally and drive through its centre. At the T-junction you will come to a set of traffic lights, turn left and then take the 1st right signposted Port de Dinan go down the steep hill, then over the small bridge crossing the Canal de Rance. (Be careful at bridge as oncoming cars have right of way).
Turn right after bridge and proceed along with the Port and Canal on your right. Take the first road left, signposted Chambres d’Hotes and Auberge de Jeunesse. Proceed for approx 2 minutes, passing the Auberge de Jeunesse on your left. We are about 100m. Further along on your right.
