Suchipakari Jungle Lodge

Suchipakari is a special ecological jungle lodge, situated 6 hours from the capital Quito in the Ecuadorian jungle. Our lodge has 4 typical constructed bungalows and 7 rooms, all with a private bathroom. The total capacity of the lodge is 40 persons which ensures you a personal threatment of high quality. We have a dining room, bar, relax area with hammocks and a private beach. The kitchen offers several menus, including local dishes. The unlimited consumption of bottled water is included.

We offer several activities guided by native guides from wich the visitor can choose:
- Guided walking tours trough the jungle with explications about the flora and fauna

- Adventure sports such as rafting, kayaking, tubing, canyoning

The lodge has its own canoes, so you can count on a 24/7 transport serivce. We can arrange the transport from Quito to the lodge, accompanied by one of our guides to assure you a safe trip. Free storage of your luggage in the agency in Quito during your trip. We offer english spoken tours.

Directions

Suchipakari Jungle Lodge is situated at the shores of the Napo and Pusuno rivers in the province of Napo. It is a 35 minutes drive from the capital of this province, Tena. From Quito you have to take the following route: Quito-Baeza-Tena (a 5 hour ride).
From Tena there are several ways to reach Suchipakari Jungle Lodge:
- Take the bus from the busstation in Tena to Puerto Misahuallí (costs $1) and ask a taxi to drive you via Misahuallí – Puente del Pununo – Pusuno Bajo to Suchipakari Jungle Lodge. You can also take a canoa to the Pusuno Bajo river where Suchipakari Lodge is located.
- Take the bus from the busstation in Tena to Punta Ahuano and ask there for a canoa to Suchpakari Jungle lodge at the Pusuno Bajo River.
