Pension Papillon

Guesthouse Papillon is a guesthouse that is running by a Dutch couple, located in Dolni Lanov, a few kilometers from Vrchlabi, the gateway to the Giant Mountains. In the city of Vrchlabi there are a lot of restaurants and bars. You can go bowling or play pool in one of the sportcentres.
One kilometer from our guesthouse there is also a good restaurant that provides you Czech meals, but there is also an international kitchen. 2,5 kilometer from the guesthouse is a Czech pub located where you can have a delicious dinner for almost nothing.

In the Giant Mountains there is enough space to hike and bike your own route (we can also provide you routes, vary from 2 kilometers till 50 kilometers) and skiing is very popular on one of the many areas near the guesthouse.
Our guesthouse is a good startingpoint for hiking, biking, skiing etc.


There are also possibilities for daytrips in the area, we can inform you about that, or take a look on our website.

We have single, double, triple rooms and also a dorm. Our rooms are clean. Every room has a handbasin and for the total rooms we have 4 showers and 3 toilets. Every guest gets his/her own towels. There is a livingroom, where you can sit to read or where you can watch a video/dvd. In the kitchen/breakfastroom there is a fridge, where we sell soda, lemonade, beer and wine. Coffee and tea are for free, the whole day.
In the’lobby’ there is a computer with internet, but if you have your own laptop, you have connection in the whole guesthouse.
When you need to clean your clothes, there is a washing-machine you can use for a little amount.

In our guesthouse itself there is a room where you can play billiard, play table tennis, airhockey, darts and table football.

When you awake after a good night’s rest, you get an good breakfast: coffee, tea, orange juice, 3 sorts of bread, 2 sorts of meat, cheese and marmelade. Many times you can have an egg too.

Because there is also a campsite, there is a possibility to sit in the courtyard, where we have many times a campfire.
The bus from Vrchlabi to Dolni Lanov goes many times a day, but when you miss the last connection, we can pick you up for free at the busstation in Vrchlabi.

We accept only cash, in local currency.
There are no restrictions at the time to arrive. We only ask the guests to say at what time they problably come.

Directions

From the airport of Prague:

Take bus 100 to Zlicin metro station (the last stop), then go from there to Cerny Most by taking the yellow line till the end.

When you arrive at Cerny Most, you have to take the bus to Vrchlabi on platform 2.

From Vrchlabi:

When you arrive in Vrchlabi there is a bus going to Dolni Lanov and you have to get out when you see the cableline going over the street (5 minutes) and the busstop is next to our guesthouse.

A taxi to our guesthouse will costs around KC 200.

When we need to pick you up from the busstation at Vrchlabi you can call us and we can arrange to pick you up when there is no bus going.
