SLEEP GOOD AND CHEAP! At Sol y Mar Backpackers in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. a good , reliable and very calm place to stay came and it enjoys our hospitality ..

We are a ' home-business' run by Solangie Araya : and two minor, school age sons, that offers not only economical lodging but a taste of the native Costa Rican culture as well!

We are located just steps away from bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy, and a 20 minute bus ride, to manuel antonio beach (or 35 minute walk), to the main beach.

Dormitory style rooms are $12 per person per night.

'Gallo 1' and ('Gallo 2' have 3 bed ) are two private rooms, with fans, double bed and private bath with hot water. Each has a private entrance; but, they share a a full kitchen, and 'commons' space with t.v. These room are $40 and ( $45 for Gallo #2) per night.


'Pato 1' is an air conditioned mixed dormitories with a full kitchen, cable t.v., 1 double bed and 1 bunk beds for a total of 5 people. $17 per person.

'Pato 2' has two bunk beds. Each is a double bunk bed below, with a single bunk bed above for $17 per person, for a total of 6 people.

All rooms include wireless internet. and breakfast fron 8: 30 am to 11:00 am ..

Dependent on the season, you can enjoy watching the 'mono titi' and white face monkeys, as well as iguana's and sloths passing through our tropical gardens .

We also offer Sol Y Mar tours by boat: to Cocal to the Isla de Damas,where one can swim on the beach and also experience the abundant wildlife: monkeys, tropical birds, crocodiles, turtles, y local typical island 'Pura Vida' culture. $50 for a person for a day long tour. and to the National park of Manuel Atonio for $30 by person For more information ask Solangie, the person that conducts the tours.

Directions

From Quepos go into Manuel Antonio small town, once you pass the soccer field across the street on your left and you will come to Restaurante D' Angel and then Sol y Mar Backpackers which is on the left hand side of the road as you are going towards the beach. between Restaurant D' Angels' ...walk down to the stairs (there is also a sign) and you will find Sol y Mabackpackers.
