The house itself is an attractive creeper covered 250 year old farmhouse set in 300 acres of mixed farmland in a quiet location of the picturesque countryside of Co. Directions

Clone House is situated approximately 68 miles(109 kms) from Dublin, 30 miles from Rosslare Harbour and 4 miles from Enniscorthy town. It is 2 miles off the N11 at Ferns village, Co. Wexford and is signposted on all main approaches to Ferns.

Driving time is 1.5 hours from Dublin city centre and 3/4 hour from Rosslare.

If using the route planner, then enter your starting point, e.g. Rosslare Harbour, Wexford. You then need to enter your destination as Ferns, Wexford. Once you are in Ferns, then follow the directions below.

If approaching from N11 south bound (from Dublin), then take the first turn left when you enter Ferns. Then take the next right (Clone House is sign posted). Continue for 1 KM and take the next right at the cross roads (again sign posted). Continue for another 1.3 KM and Clone House will be located on the right hand side.

If approaching from the N11 north bound (from Rosslare or Enniscorthy) then continue until Ferns. At the roundabout turn right (second exit N11). Continue for 100 metres and turn right (first right after roundabout). Then take the next right (Clone House is sign posted). Continue for 1 KM and take the next right at the cross roads (again sign posted). Continue for another 1.3 KM and Clone House will be located on the right hand side.
