There are lots of restaurants offering Belizean. There are local night clubs to visit, or you can just relax and have a Belikin at Serenity Sands. There are a few Mayan ruins near Corozal, the nearest Santa Rita, the furthest away, Xuanantunich which is approximately 3 hours and 20 mins by road. Other places of interest Belize include: Crooked Tree Wild Life Sanctuary, Baboon Sanctuary, and the Belize Zoo.
Serenity Sands Bed and Breakfast offers four tastefully decorated second floor rooms, with a selection of queen or twin beds. Rooms are air conditioned with private bath and balcony and private security box. All wood furnishings and artwork are locally crafted. There is a warm, homey ambience in the common room and sunroom, where satellite tv and movies are available, as well as an extensive library. Additionally, complimentary satellite internet access is available (8am - 8pm) in the main B&B. The guest house, with kitchen and loft bedroom sleeps up to 6, with optional breakfast.

From the international airport to Corozal: Turn left out of the parking lot and follow this road to the T intersection. Turn left on to the Northern Hwy. Gas up before leaving the Belize City/Ladyville area, as the 1st fuelling station is 1.5 hours away. Approx 60 min along the hwy there is a $1 Bz toll station. There are 2 major roundabouts along the way as you get closer to Orange Walk, make sure to follow the signs to Corozal. Follow the highway approx 120 km (75 miles) to a T intersection, turning left to continue through a number of small towns into the town of Corozal. Follow the road along the bay until you reach a Y intersection. Take the right leg of the Y which is 4th Ave, follow 4th Ave out of town, the road then becomes Consejo Rd.
Note: there are rather large speed bumps on the Northern Hwy as you enter towns along the way, make sure to slow down.
From the Mexican border: After leaving the Santa Rita border crossing parking lot turn left (south) onto the Northern Hwy. Follow the highway approx 10 min until you reach a T intersection, turn left into Corozal. Follow the road into Corozal, the road curves to the right, immediately after the curve turn left at the 1st road (there is a small monument on meridian at this corner) onto 1st St South. Continue on 1st St South until you reach 4th Ave, turn left onto 4th Ave (past the park) and follow out of town, the road then becomes Consejo Rd.
From Corozal to Serenity Sands: Follow Consejo Rd for 6.5 km (4 miles). Turn right at the Serenity Sands sign. Follow this road 1.2 km (0.75mile), turn on the 1st right, follow this road turning left, then right until you reach Serenity Sands.
