We are backpackers, working for backpackers … it’s in our name and in our very spirits. We work to help you save as much money you can and to let you have a great rest, so you can travel as much as you can. That’s our purpose.

We put high attention in being at one of the best possible locations, keeping our prices low and the Hostel to be a place to rest.

It is not a coincidence that almost everything at Footsteps is for free: good breakfast, Internet, Wi-Fi, storage room, pool table, bookings, movies, books, … neither a coincidence that we have comfortable, warm place and beds. Neither that Footsteps is very quiet to be a rest place but at steps to Santiago’s best nightlife in Bellavista.

Directions

As we are in the geographic center - the best location - you can get to us almost by every way:

By Bus: from the airport take de CENTROPUERTO bus (about USD 2), it will leave you in Los Heroes Metro Station, then hop on Metro to 'Baquedano Station' (Line 1, red one). We are just 130 footsteps from the South exit heading through Ramon Carnicer Street. Get to Almirante Simpson on your right. This is the cheapest way to get to us.

By Shuttle: just by the luggage pick-up ask for us in TurBus Shuttle Service or TransVip. All of them know us as Footsteps Backpackers (ex Hostel Chile). They can provide you transportation to our hostel for about USD 9.

By Taxi: at the airport you can take any taxi to get to Plaza Italia, the geographic center. Be aware, it shouldn't cost you more than USD 30 the ride (and that's even a bit high).

By Pick Up: if you do not like any of the means above we will be happy to arrange you door-to-door transportation if you e-mail us in advance (a couple of days will be enough).
