The studio-apartments (3) are located in between the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana (Arpoador) in a nice and small apartment building with 24 hours security and 2 elevators.
Arpoador is the small, cozy and very safe area right in between the beautiful and famous beaches of Copacabana (4 minutes walking) and Ipanema (8 minutes walking). Next door to, and around the apartment you will find: an internet-café, a supermarket, laundry service and several juice-bars and restaurants.
The studios are on the 9th and 10th floor so there is relatively little street noise.

1)The renovated STANDARD studio 905 has a blindex shower cabin with gas-heated hot water; kitchenette with: microwave oven, 2 pits electrical cooker and a big fridge. The living/sleeping room has: 20 inch colour TV with DVD-player, 1 double bed, 1 extra single bed/couch, 1single sofa bed, small breakfast table with 2 chairs and a stool and 2 ceiling fans.
This studio accommodates comfortably 3 people and of course towels and sheets are provided just like tourist information.

!!If only sleeping space is needed a 4th person can stay for a small extra fee.!!

2) the 2nd DELUXE studio 1007 has the same size and facilities but the only difference is that it has an electric shower and AIR CONDITIONING!
Here we can set up: 1 Very big and comfortable double bed and 1 sofa bed or 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed. So it accommodates comfortably 3 people.
!!If only sleeping space is needed a 4th person can stay for a small extra fee!!

3) the 3rd studio 906 is the most luxury one as it has cable TV, blinded windows, airconditioning, big table, 4 pits gasstove and 2 or 3 single beds (2 can be put together)

Directions

The apartment is located on the corner of Rua Julio de Castilhos and Rua Raul Pompeia in Arpoador.

This is a 15 minutes walk from 'Cantagalo' metro station.
A taxi from the 'Rodoviaria' busstation will cost you approx. 25 reals. From the International GIG airport it will cost approx. 45-50 reals. Take the yellow taxis OUTSIDE the terminal.

You can also take the 'REAL' bus from the 'Rodoviaria' busstation(4 R$) or from the international airport GIG(7 R$). Just tell the driver to stop at the corner of Joaquim Nabuco and Rua Raul Pompeia. (just 2 blocks from the apartment)
