Our guests enjoy the quiet atmosphere in our house, but we don´t forget to party once in a while.

Just walking distance from the 'Bondinho' which is the local 110-year old tram that still runs through the cobbled streets of the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood with its craft shops and big variety of restaurants and bars. Only 10 minutes by foot to downtown with it's 20st century pyramidical cathedral and Municipal Theater, national Library, museums, squares and parks.

The neighborhood of Santa Teresa is getting more and more popular. There is a lot of nightlife, life music, restaurants and bars. The many artists that live in Santa Teresa give it a bohemian character, resulting in artistic little shops, ateliers and many cultural events.


Enjoy the view over Rio while you zip from your drink on our sundeck or swim in our pool. You can arrange your BBQ or watch a Brazilian movie. Down the street you will find one of Rio´s most popular and vivid nightlife, live music and booths selling the famous caipirinhas.

Directions

Our pousada is located in a car-free street, on top of the famous stairs of Selaron and close to the Santa Teresa Convent.
By metro: get down in cinelandia or gloria.

By bus: any bus that goes via Lapa,will leave you close to the arcs of Lapa. Get down and just climb the stairs of Selaron.

By taxi: until the Santa Teresa Convent, then walk down the stairs.
