Activity/Tour

As a volunteer, you will be placed within local projects around Arusha, that benefit from the skills and assistance of international volunteers. Projects range from orphanages to schools. We are also able to place volunteers at skill specific placements.

Typical Day

You will spend between 5 to 8 hours daily volunteering at your project. You will be transported to and from your project.

Age range, type of group

We accept anyone willing to contribute their time and skills to their project. Our program appeals to travellers, students, skilled professionals and retirees. Whatever your skill we can find a project for you where you will contribute and make a difference.

Sleeping and meals

Accommodation is in large comfortable dormitory style rooms. All linen and mosquito nets are provided. We have 4 western style toilets with hot water. You will be served breakfast and dinner daily as part of your fee. 24 hour filtered drinking water is available.

Rates

Accommodation at Tastic Tanzania is $150 per week, or $25 per night. For volunteers we recommend a two week minimum so that your project can benefit from your time, and so that the volunteer can achieve their volunteering goals and enjoy a solid cultural experience.
