Then when you want to get away from it all, head into the majestic forests to your stone castle in the woods with breathtaking views,and quietness to rejuvenate your soul. Take along your mountain bike, hiking boots, fishing pole, or a good book to just kick back for awhile to let your senses recuperate from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. The mood can be just what you need if you're a writer, a painter, or just someone who needs to get away from it all, this is the spot where you will be left alone with nothing but peace and quiet. Ahh! Perfect.

Vacation Rental Property

Enjoy complete privacy in this 2200 sq. ft. stone house with 3-story castle turret, large barn, and covered riding arena for the horse enthusiast. There is even a helicopter hanger. We offer horse riding trips for an extra fee. There is a large yard with fruit trees, evergreens galore, and the only visitors you'll have will be four legged animals; deer ,elk, and maybe a bear or two hanging out in the meadows surrounding the home.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The stone house has 2 bdrms. (1 master suite downstairs), 1.5 bathrooms, and a large kitchen, and 2 living rooms. There is a propane refrigerator, and cook stove, and 3 wood stoves for those chilly evenings if so desired. The home is totally off the grid with propane for cooking, lighting, and an artisian spring for wonderfully fresh water.

Amenities

The covered arena is 80' x 120' which is great for the horse enthusiasts.
Hiking around the area you will see old growth forests that are among the oldest in Oregon. The Rogue River is approximately an hour from the house, so venturing down to the River is a pleasant drive, and there are numereous things to do on the Rogue River, and the surrounding sites in Grants Pass, Oregon; Fine dining on the Rogue River, fishing, swimming, hiking, etc.

Services Offered

We also offer shuttle service if a vehicle is needed to take you on any excursion you may desire while staying at the castle; trips to and from airports, trips to the Rogue River for a water adventure, etc. We are open to your needs while staying at the Oregon Wilderness Castle. Just let us know how we can make your stay pleasant.

Restrictions

Pets are welcome with some restrictions.

Rates & Availability

Rates are $200/ night, 3night min. so as to soak in the tranquility. Monthly rates are also available upon request.

Other Information

We offer pickup service at the Medford Airport, or other Oregon airports if so desired for additional fee.
