great spot! Wonderful property and about as close as you can get to the slopes. No TV so we missed a football game but house is just as described

Description of Surrounding Area

The gateway to the Mount Baker National Forest is located at Glacier, 33 miles east of Bellingham and less than two and one half hours from either Vancouver, BC or Seattle. Within minutes from Glacier there are abundant hiking trails, views and waterfalls. Fishing and Hunting are excellent, and during winter, Mount Baker claims the longest skiing season in North America. Ski downhill or cross-country in the finest of powder snow.



The Baker Lodge boasts 3000 square feet of living area on two levels featuring open beam construction and cedar paneling throughout, with 4 bedrooms including a master suite. One bedroom we call the "bunk-room", is a great place for the kids as it has lots of space and is somewhat separate from the main living area. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a loft, which is quiet and cozy and has a hide-a-bed while overlooking the great room/living room area. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen includes double ovens, microwave, ceramic cook top, dishwasher, full refrigerator, and all the small appliances and cookware. Outside you'll find a wonderfully landscaped double lot for extra privacy, 8 person hot tub, and a covered BBQ area with gas grill. While this self-catered vacation home.... everything the family chef could need is here!

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

There is plenty of room for family to be comfortable and have privacy here. There are 4 bedroom and 4 baths; "the bunk room" is great for the kids as there is lots of room and can sleep 5 comfortably.

The master bedroom features a King bed, private bath, stereo, full size closet, and television with VCR. The two other bedrooms are good sized with queen beds and share a bathroom down the hall.

The main floor great room features a wood fireplace, stereo, and a home theater system with DVD / VCR player with movie library (no television reception). Large cedar decks align both sides of the home and provide an additional thousand square feet outdoor living space. The back deck is partial covered and features an 8 person spa/hot tub, gas BBQ grill and patio furniture.

Amenities

SNOWLINE is a private, gated vacation community consisting of aprox 80 cabins, chalets, and log homes. Many owners live there year-round and call Glacier "home", while other owners this is their vacation property

The Community Amenities:

Snowline has a pool, tennis courts, Children's Fishing Pond, Children's Big-toy play area (swings, slide, jungle gym, and picnic table/bench), Basketball Courts, Softball Field, Pickle Ball Court, Volleyball/Badminton Area, and much more.

Restrictions

Rules for occupancy:
Max occupancy is 10 persons (strictly enforced).


All vehicles parked overnight must be registered with the Snowline resident manager. If make and license number of vehicle is not known prior to arrival, it must be filed with the resident manager upon arrival. Snowline resident manager conducts regular patrols. There is NO parking on the edges of the property. Please comply.





Snowline rules and regulations will be provided as part of your check in package. Any citations will be immediately charged to your credit card.
Keys are to be left in unit and door locked upon departure.


Lost keys/gate keys will be charged at $20 each.


To avoid additional clean up charges, guests will wipe down countertops and table surfaces of food debris, load dirty dishes and start dishwasher, pull sheets and towels from rooms and bathrooms and start laundry.

Other Information

We provide fresh linens, a gas BBQ, firewood, a maintained HOT TUB, lots of books, games, movies, several TVs& DVD/VCRs. There is also many quiet places to read and relax. Enjoy the sounds of the small creek in the back of the property.

Directions

DIRECTIONS:From Bellingham,Washington (I-5), drive east on Mt. Baker Hwy 542 until you are about 1/2 mile past mile marker 33. Upon entering the town of Glacier, look for the Post Office and Graham's store on right, and Milano's on the left.

Drive through town and you will soon see gated entrances to two different communities.

SNOWLINE is on your left near mile marker 34.
